I can't believe it's Friday.
I mean, I looked down at my phone expecting to see Wednesday, and it said Friday instead.
And then I wondered where the rest of the week had gone.
Time sure flies when you have a million things to do.
Out of all the things I was supposed to accomplish this week, I maybe got one or two done.
But that's O.K.
There's always next week!
So, my week has been pretty fast-paced.
And that means I don't have a ton of pictures to choose from to share.
But I think after seeing the pics, you'll get a general idea about what I've endured this week.
A new dog.
A jealous other dog.
An angry cat.
More jealous dogs.
Preparing tons of dog food.
Between all the animals, I seriously wonder how I will be able to handle children in the future.
You can't exactly put them in the backyard with a bowl of water and say, "Hey guys, I really need a break."
You can, however, do that with dogs.
And that's exactly that tactic I used this week.
I'll do a blog post on her background after we officially adopt her.
Currently, we are only her 'foster' parents.
We didn't want to fully commit to her if Niko couldn't stand her.
But you know what, I think he just might be in love.
But you know what, I think he just might be in love.
All that's left now is to sign the papers.
My favorite part of this week was teaching Creative Writing yesterday to our home-schooled church kids.
They are all so smart and witty.
It really shows in their assignments.
It has been a blessing to be able to share my love and passion for writing with them.
I know I only spend an hour with them a week, but it's always the best hour of my week.
Until next time,
Jessi
