An Encouraging Word

"The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you;
he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid:
do not be discouraged."
(Deut. 31:8)

This verse keeps popping up everywhere I look.
My devotionals.
My Bible app.
Facebook.
It's obvious God is trying to get my attention.
In my life right now, I'm standing on a new horizon.
Most of the journey looks uphill.
But God, who is so good, is reminding me that he will be with me regardless of what lies ahead.
Fear has no place in my life.
Not when I know God as intimately as I do.
So, I'm letting go.
I'm trusting.
Trusting that whatever lies ahead is good.
Because God has never failed me before.
If you're going through something similar, I encourage you to trust like I am.
I know it's hard.
We're human.
We want to rely on our own abilities, our own talents, and our own skills to get the job done.
But sometimes the job is too big for us to accomplish alone.
Let go and let God.
