1500 Miles: Excerpt 31 - Life's Storms

Taken from Jessica's eBook website 1500-miles.com

"The rain had stopped but the clouds still loomed overhead. It was fitting—the storm. My mood was wild today. I wanted to do something crazy. I wanted to unleash all my rage like a storm." --Abby, 1500 Miles.

Life's storms are often the toughest to weather. They come in many different forms: loss, finances, broken relationships, burdens, addiction, etc. But God reminds us in James to "consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance." (James 1:2,3)

Whatever it is that you're weathering today, remember that God never fails. He's always one step ahead. He already knows the end result. Trust that He has a plan and, when the time is right, the storm will pass and the sun will shine through the clouds that still loom overhead.
